Chestnut Tree House Children’s Hospice the only children’s hospice in Sussex providing practical and emotional support, expert advice and dedicated care for local families throughout Sussex with children affected by a life-limiting or life-threatening condition.
We give supported to the whole family. At the house, the children can enjoy a dip in our hydrotherapy pool, have fun in the sensory room, make a mess in the messy play area, make music in the music room or play in the garden.
We have ten special children’s bedrooms and 8 family rooms. It costs over £2m per year to run and we receive less than 10% Government funding – but with the current cuts we may lose this too.
You can get involved with fundraising (we have lots of new fundraising initiatives including Superhero Day on the 20th May, the £50 challenge and lots more) or volunteering. Simplify spread the word of Chestnut Tree house and help our awareness spread.
